To my migrated Trinidad and Tobago families who now live in the United States, England, Canada, Japan, or any other part of the world: as I respectfully and humbly make my appeal to you, I am reminded of the lyrics from Michael Jackson’s song, “But you are not alone, I am here with you. Though we’re far apart, you’re always in my heart. But you are not alone.” Oh, how I hope and pray that you deeply consider us in your heart during this time of crisis.

Your partnership your financial support is urgently needed and greatly appreciated, l am also making my appeal to those of you who have a hint of Trini blood flowing through you by some extended family even though you were not born here you are part of our family and culture.

I acknowledge you and appreciate any sensitivity to my call for financial support. Those of you who don’t have much, the little you give will add up and be of great value. Those of you who are wealthy and financially able, give generously from your heart. Your love and compassion will save lives.
